From September 14 to 19, 2025, the 22nd International Conference on Silicon Carbide and Related Materials (ICSCRM 2025) took place at the BEXCO Convention Center in Busan, Korea. The world’s leading SiC conference was held in Korea for the first time and brought together over 2,000 experts from more than 40 countries to present the latest research results and technological developments in the field of silicon carbide.
Adenso was also present as an exhibitor this year and used the conference to discuss current developments and new business approaches with international companies, research institutions, and technology partners. There was particular interest in our VAC.ROBOTICS solutions for precise substrate and panel handling in high-tech applications.
In addition to the main topics of materials, defects, device design, and packaging, the conference also offered exciting insights into future fields such as quantum computing, quantum communication, and quantum sensing. These topics are playing an increasingly important role in new requirements for automated handling and process modules, an area in which Adenso is strongly positioned with modular platform solutions.
The direct exchange with leading international experts, research institutions, and industry partners made ICSCRM 2025 a valuable event for Adenso and an important source of inspiration for future developments in the SiC and quantum technology environment.
